When I first got my GratOodle I just carried it in my jeans pocket and looked for things to be grateful for. I live where the sun shines bright and it is warm for the 12 hours of daylight, pretty much year around. Being grateful for my life here is not a huge challenge!
THANK you for the sunny warm morning, 'click'. Love my terrace, 'click', and fresh coffee, 'click'. Appreciate these lovely breezes, 'click'. Thank you for that beautiful bird song, 'click'. Oh wow, THANK you for the hummingbird, 'click'. Thank YOU for the nice compliment, 'click'. The warmth of each expression just raises my level of feeling happiness up another notch.
I decided to introduce this simple way of expressing and counting moments of Gratitude to my Church. I mentioned a few things I was grateful for as I stood in front of the congregation. I just said, 'click', as I counted with the gratOodle in my hand. There was such merriment in each fun moment that after church people were just expressing their gratitude about something personal when they saw me and laughed and said, "click". It was infectious! Fun! The after-church atmosphere included a delicious lunch, 'click' and in another's expressions and verbal 'clicks' of gratitude, laughter was their response.
There is a well-known adage, "What you think about, you bring about." What I notice most during my own personal use of the gratOodle is that the more blessings I feel gratitude for, the more blessings I receive and notice. I am more aware of and love "counting my blessings!"
An Attitude of Gratitude, with the gratOodle as a reminder, creates even more reasons and increases the feeling of being grateful!
Thank you for the inspiration and this little "Miracle Memory 'Minder'"!

"I am enjoying my gratOodle and am showing it off to everyone. The best day so far was last Monday. I woke up in a grumpy mood and by 10:00am I was still growly. Then I remembered the gratOodle in my bag and dug it out. I reluctantly began to find things to be grateful for and started clicking it. After about an hour I had close to 10 things and was starting to feel much happier. By the evening I had clicked it close to 100 times and was in an amazing mood, very buoyant and happy! I've been telling everyone that story and getting a lot of joy clicking away ever since."
